Celebrating Gandhi’s Birth Anniversary and His Message to the World

In honor of Mahatma Gandhi’s birthday on October 2nd, we invite you to an enlightening online talk on Global Peace and spirituality, welcoming people from across the globe. Organized by the Umran Green Perspective Foundation, our motto is “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” (The Whole World is One Family) and “Asabiyyah” (group feeling).

Please send your written speech on any of the following topics, either in your own language or in English:

1. How Do You Contribute to Peacebuilding in Your Society?
2. How does your faith or religion promote peace in society or on a global level?
3. Share personal experiences, initiatives, or ideas on how individuals can actively work towards peace in their communities.
4. Gandhi’s Impact in Your Country.
5. Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – The Global Family: Discuss the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” and its relevance in today’s interconnected world.
6. Asabiyyah – Fostering Group Feeling: Explore the significance of “Asabiyyah” or group feeling and how it can contribute to a more harmonious world.
7. Why Global Peace is important today, what are the challenges, and what should we do?

Event Details:  

Submission Deadline: Participants should submit their written talks by September 25th. Each talk should have a duration of 5 minutes. (No Power Point Presentation. Send only written speech)

Announcement of Selected Talks: Selected written talks will be announced on September 27th.

Event Date and Time: The event will take place on October 2nd at 6:30 PM on Zoom (Online).  

Recognition:

All participants will receive a Certificate of Appreciation.

Awards will be presented to outstanding students residing in India.
