Umran Green School

UMRAN aims to establish UMRAN Green School, drawing inspiration from Walter Gropius’s Bauhaus School and Ibn Haldun’s concept of Umran. Preparations for laying down its foundation are underway at Madhubani in Bihar (India). UMRAN Green School currently operates online by providing free language courses for twelve languages as it brings people from all walks of life together on one platform. This language program has been designed with a weekly “UMRAN Cultural Program” and offers Hindi, English, Turkish, Arabic, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, Portuguese, Persian, and Urdu, from A1 to B2 level. The program started in June 2020 with 150 students worldwide for six languages and with twelve teachers. Today more than 500 international students and 60 international teachers are engaged with this language program from rural and urban areas.

Umran initiated its dream project UMRAN Green School to establish a proper library in Jaynagar, Madhubani, Bihar, India. It was inaugurated on 10 January 2021. The library consists of a study section, a music section, an art gallery, and a café. It will also serve as a model of UMRAN Green Residential School. This sort of vast intellectual space to explore, coupled with the Green School’s innovative curriculum, aims to provide the next level of global exposure to children and young minds in the region to expand their intellectual horizons and evolve into able citizens of a global society.
