Umran: A Vision For Humanity

In the present era of ultramodern technology, we are inclined towards ranks and examinations rather than day to day learning. I think Education is to acquire a particular set of skills and learn every day through it. It does not just teach us how to attain a successful life but also an interactive social life. Looking for something educational yet interactive, I came across the academic organization UMRAN. UMRAN Green Perspective is providing an exceptional quality learning experience for the ones who want to procure. UMRAN is a non-profit organization, made with the vision of connecting and equating citizens of every country around the world and giving a heterogeneous and contrasting view of each other’s culture and society through learning a different language to acquiring artistic skills or to participate in a cultural meeting.

I happen to join UMRAN through learning French which is one of my earliest goals and through UMRAN I am achieving it in the best way possible. UMRAN has one of the best language programs for the individuals of all ages who want to learn a different language. Languages are taught by native speakers who are expert in their fields. Students are also informed about the culture and whereabouts of the states where languages are spoken. During the live session of online learning, experts make sure that each and every student is learning without any difficulty. All of the students are provided with e books, pdfs, notes throughout the live session as well as the tests and homework are also taken into account during all the sessions to make sure that students are taking meetings in a proper educational environment. The teachers are experts in their languages and have the best teaching experience out there. These online classes provide the best opportunity to learn a new language in a friendly environment.

As an aspiring writer, I am always looking for something where I can learn various skills of writing or to contribute my skills, I asked around in the programs and came to know that not only they have an online language learning program  but also internship programs where they give a layout for the final project of 3 months and students are encouraged to learn through it. Through these internships of contents writing, computer based as well as cultural ones, the students participate in a final project with peers all around the world having diverse cultures and even different opinions. As someone who loves meeting new people, this is the best platform for me.

The good news for book lovers from UMRAN is that they are building libraries in three of the different places and one of the building structures is coming to end soon. These libraries are not going to be just a reading space, but an official learning environment. There are going to be four sections of the library, first one where primary school students read storybooks as well as art supplies and the best part is that students can take help from volunteers for their homework and other activities. The second section is dedicated to music and music instruments in which students are encouraged to participate. The third section would be an art gallery and sales from paintings that would be donated so they can become better social citizens and contribute to their communities. The fourth section is a cafe where there would be special discounts for the students and would be designed in a way to promote culture. I absolutely love the idea of this library and cannot wait for it to be completed.

UMRAN does its best to provide a friendly and safe environment for the students and participants as well as volunteers coming from different ethnic, religious backgrounds. For one, I, as a Pakistani, am working with Indians, where I am also aware of the tension between the two countries but on this platform provided by UMRAN I have forgotten about it, just by communicating and learning together the tension has eased to none. From both sides we work in peace and harmony without any additional sensitive dialogues. This kind of easy and friendly environment has helped me to communicate openly and participate in different activities. All of the students’ teachers and volunteers respect each other’s culture, religion; state giving out an easy predicament to voice out our own opinions and make sure that they are heard. This is what makes most of the participants of UMRAN reach out for more programs as it is providing the golden opportunity to interact with diverse groups all around the world through their easy online sessions and classes. I think that UMRAN is making the best use of technology during the pandemic we are living through, having 1-hour zoom meetings for two in a week and every Tuesday everyone is obligated to join in the cultural meeting, which is the main purpose of UMRAN apart from learning. Cultural meetings gave me the opportunity to dig deep in various cultures, their customs, their stories and write about them. The best thing about cultural programs is that anyone can volunteer to talk about themselves, their stories, their culture, their art. It gives out the best cultural musical and poetry to the diverse audience.

    So far participating in an international platform such as UMRAN has given me more confidence as ever, from talking to the people living in neighboring countries to learning French as my third language from enthusiastic teachers, the experience is exciting and honorable. I am anticipating more each day.

A non-profit organization such as UMRAN is striving towards making this world a better place through its concept of wisdom and prosperity by giving out free programs and friendly environment and as a decent human being we should contribute to it, representing our nations, cultures and grow with it.
