Why do we give UGS Scholarships to learn a language?

The languages will assist students in achieving their educational and career objectives and provide them with culturally varied exposure, allowing them to address problems such as environmental consciousness, women’s empowerment, humanitarian aid, and international collaboration. We believe that language knowledge will bridge the gap between various communities, societies, religions and civilizations and develop a better understanding among people. Through this language program, we try to bring people in communication from urban-rural and national-international, both men and women, to re-imagine a society with fewer social differences and more environmentally conscious people.

Who is eligible to get this scholarship?

The UGS scholarship is basically designed for economically weak students and for the students coming from rural areas.

This Language Program has proven to be particularly helpful for girls and women who are unable to travel to other cities owing to restrictions, who are unable to attempt a course that is too expensive in the education market, or who have had to abandon their studies. This Language Course is created in collaboration with the Umran Culture Program that includes a discussion on language learning and culture studies. The program consists of an open forum, education, lecture, social, cultural, and spiritual development training, and an opportunity for students to give a presentation with the help of our qualified educators. This program provides both urban and rural girls and boys, men and women, worldwide and high-quality knowledge, allowing them to communicate.

What is the UGS Scholarship, and what do we provide as a UGS Scholarship?

A UGS Scholarship is a stipend awarded to all students partially. The stipend will not be delivered to the student in cash, but instead be paid to UGS as part of the student’s tuition fees (250 USD). Tuition costs, course materials, certificates, ID cards, and other services are funded in part by Webultrasolution, Umran Academic Research Association, Umran Green School, and Umran Women’s Magazine. The scholarships are given as Bruce B Lawrence Scholarship (BBL Scholarships), Sone Lal Yadav Scholarship (SLY Scholarships), and Umran Green School Scholarship (UGS Scholarships).

Who can apply for the program?

The program and scholarship are open to applicants of any nationality above the age of 15.

Students are not charged any course costs. The Umran Green Perspective Foundation covers complete course tuition to UGS via scholarship. UGS additionally waives registration expenses for students who excel in their classes, maintain good attendance, and participate in the cultural program on a regular basis (only applicable for girls. Twelve women and girls from any village are also exempted from registration fees.) Such students must write an application to UGS to waive their fees along with a recommendation letter from class teacher and send to ugs@umran.org.in.

Please keep in mind that our teams work very hard to provide this opportunity. For this reason, we only seek serious students who understand and appreciate it. UGS offers 24 classes and 3 cultural programs, as well as an admission exam, a language test, an ID card, certificates, lectures, an inauguration program, as well counseling and tutoring. Applicants should not be deceived by the insignificance of the registration fee as our teachers, students and administrative staff have made this program their labor of love and have wasted no effort in making it a success. We recognize that some students may take it for granted, and it is possible that we may discontinue providing this kind of financial assistance in the future if the opportunity is misused. We hope this will not be the case and look forward to learning and growing with you!

Students must re-register each semester. This is not a one-time registration, and the registration fee may change each semester depending on our team’s collective decision.

Registartion Fees: The registration fee 750 Rs (INR) for economically weak students and 2000 Rs for general students. All fees are contributed as a donation to this organization, which is utilized to fund the project. Students are also requested to donate to organisations to support, if they can.
