German is an official language of Germany, but it is also spoken in other countries such as Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Switzerland, some parts of Belgium, Northern Italy, and Eastern France. Therefore learning this language will open so many opportunities for jobs, education, and in general. Germany is also home to many international corporations, such as Volkswagen, Allianz, Birkenstock, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens, and stacks of other globally recognized brands. I am saying this for job purposes. But did you know that public universities in Germany have no tuition fee? You can study here and get a job in one of the finest and most globally recognized brands.

Germany is a monolingual country. However, with the increase of immigration and foreigner, there has been multilingualism in German society. The invention of the term “Kiezdeutsch” refers to the youth language in contact with other languages and cultures. The language is not at all logical—something it doesn’t make any sense. For example, they recently invented the word “der Hamsterkauf” to buy things in bulk during this pandemic. Funny right!!

Germany is the country of poets and thinkers –Das Land der Dichter und Denker. There is definitely no denying it. A large percentage of the world’s most impressive achievements were first conceived of in German.

Furthermore, what do Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Schumann, and Wagner have in common? Apart from being famous composers, they all spoke and wrote in German.

Bringing things into the present, I’m sure you’ve heard of the likes of Rammstein, Kraftwerk, and Milky Chance. These bands sing in German and English.

While we’re on the arts, some 80,000 new books are published in Germany each year. Only a small percentage of these are translated into other languages. All these books are only accessible to those who have a fluent grasp of German.

Plus, you’ll be able to read Kafka and Goethe as they were originally written, with nothing lost in translation.

Therefore, go for it. We look forward to teaching you and have fun learning the language together. On Tuesdays, you’ll also have a cultural program, where you can learn more with a profound instructor. You’ll also have professors from well-known universities visiting now and then and sharing knowledge.
